Google’s Local Search for Mobile Phones



Google has recently launched a local search feature for the mobile phones. With the help of this you can easily search for places without even typing. Moreover, you can have the list of your starred places at Google Maps in your phone. All this by just signing in your Google account from your phone. This is pretty handy when you are at the market place and just remembered something to buy or for just keeping a note for the shopping.

You can access these features by going to www.google.com/m/local, or just click on the Local tab on google.com. At the moment, this feature is available in US and China only. Here is a quick video demo:
