Gary McKinnon’s appeal for getting trialed in UK has been denied and he will be facing court in the USA. The Director of Public Prosecutions refused to order a UK trial, reasoning that the actions were directed against the US military infrastructure and the evidences were located in the US.
Mr McKinnon, 43, admitted for committing the biggest military computer hack of all time, in 2001 and 2002. Although he has assured that there were no any malicious intentions involved but the estimated damages cost around $800,000 (£487,000). If convicted, he will face at least 70 years imprisonment.
Gary McKinnon claims that he had deep interest in studying the UFOs and wanted to see the classified documents regarding that which he believed the US authorities had suppressed.
