GigaPan revolutionizing panoramic photographs



Ever wanted to have a close zoom of a beautiful scenery but things getting blurred. BBC’s  Click tested out a new gadget which makes possible to capture high definition panoramic views with great ease. From GigaPan.org

The GigaPan Epic and new Epic 100 make it easy and fun to capture brilliant high resolution panoramas with a broad range of point and shoot digital cameras, including several DSLRs. The GigaPan Stitcher software comes with the Epic Series and automatically combines photos to create gigapixel panoramas then uploads them to GigaPan.org

GigaPan Epic has the ability to create images of order gigapixels in size.

The basic concept behind its working is that the robotic device when attached to any digital camera, it  captures hundreds, even thousands, of photographs which are then compiled with the help of a software into one huge panoramic experience.
